My state has banned paddling. I am totally opposed to paddling.
I had some difficulty with a first grader and asked the school counselor for advice. She told me to find a time and place where no one would see and give him a good paddling!! Needless to say I did not. I was shocked and dismayed. I have never asked her again for advice about individual students.
